I don't personally know anything about it, but I know that if you stick up a picture or two of it, you'll have an answer in less than a day.

Most of the .45's used a Roman Numeral designation for a model #.
IXA
C-IXA
CE-IXA
BE-IXA
IX-D
IX-C
Max-1
Mini-Max

Maybe call the MFG co and the serial # will tell them and they can tell you.

I bought a slightly used Smith And Wesson from a shop, I called S+W and they told me what month the gun was made, and what it had been shipped back to them for. (recoil spring recall I think it was.)

I picked it up at 500 rounds, for 300 off the price of less 500 rounds.

Llama is no longer in business. They've been gone for quite some time.

My experience with these is some are refinished and the model and name has been removed during the refinishing. I think some owners try not to tell others what there shooting. I could careless i enjoy my llama extra in 9mm largo anyhoo and could careless what others think. Bill
