No, party devisiveness got us here today. No demmie will EVER listen to a conservative, we have no influence with them once they're in power. We have at least some with our own party. But too many abandoned the party to the likes of the Perot's and McCain's without really trying to take it back from the Rhinos, and here we are. A house divided.........

Sharon Angle is no slick orator, and was not the Republican darling candidate, and for the first time in a LONG time, Harry Reid had a challenge on his hands. Now, should she have been on the ticket? Yes, she won the nomination. But, could someone who would have been better at expressing ideas, plans, and debating Reid been nominated? SURE! She got where she went because nobody else stood up to do it. Also, Marco Rubio. He defeated Charlie Crist by almost 20 points. So that brings us also to the tooth and nail battle in Alaska. That mouth piece Murkowski decided to split the party on purpose and she's been ostracized for it. It's time to remove the unions and the PAC's... ALL OF THEM, and not one here and one there... ALL OF THEM. TODAY. RFN. TURN IT OFF LIKE A LIGHT SWITCH. END all of that sway on candidates, and they will actually listen to the people. Until then, they will chase the dollars, and it's the one off's that want to rebel that we got this last time. Now lets hold their feet to the fire and make sure they are doing their job!!! and if they are, then re-elect them! |

Been watching Michelle Bachman. The MSM has started attacking her vociferiously, Which tells me she is gaining traction and making them nervous. Gonna watch her to see if she can garner any more supporters. Might be worth looking at, we don't have any other strong front runners except Romney, a less than ideal choice.

I'm merely pointing out this isn't my assumption, but a statement of fact held by many politicos. It wouldn't matter who the demmies put up for election, I am diametrically opposed to the stated (and secret) platform of the DNC. I therefore cannot vote that way. As to the RNC, I will vote for them as they are the only real alternative for a win, and I consider it my duty to vote. "Party trumps person", I have no other real alternative choice, they are the closest to my own political bent, so it wouldn't matter who the RNC puts up. This IS the political reality of it, and whether others can accept that or not does NOT lessen the reality of it.

Okay, thanks! I know what you mean and I understand whats behind it.
My assertion is that as long as citizens think that they should vote LEFT and put liberals in office just because they hate "bush" or whatever their political hot button might be... thats the one issue they care about. And THAT is why we have this ultral liberal obstacle to true freedom and success, away from slavery and perpetual debt. |

Cain Bachman or Bachman Cain would be a dynamite ticket, at least right now. Romney and Huntsman are simply Mormon progressives. Perry might be good too. We really need to work harder than the libs this time and do more than opine online!!

And at the time, National Spirit was relatively high, Reagan was President, we were flying Shuttles, lots of good things going on. Now, we're buried in debt, we have an entitlement society voting into office an elitist society who want to spend our money for us. The two of those have grown significantly and horribly out of control. The LIBERALS scream end CORPORATE WELFARE! And they scream TAX THE RICH! Hey, I say cut ALL welfare, everything (and everyone) was a lot better off before the "gub'ment" got involved with handing out paychecks for doing nothing. Either you worked or you didnt, and if you didnt, you better be able to grow food or fish and hunt on land you dont own without getting shot, because you might get really hungry, not to mention those kids... oh gee... responsibility! Oops! I say cut everyone's taxes. Across the board. No more deductions for private jets, but NO luxury taxes either (OH AND BY THE WAY... lets ask Mr John Kerry about those luxury taxes, and trying to DODGE THEM!!!! with his YACHT!!!) If the democrats are serious about reform and balancing our budget and reducing the burden our CURRENT debt causes our economy, they will shake off Obama and all of the hardcore liberal left like the case of fleas that they are, and they will start RUNNING to the right, and stay democrats still the same. They have to stop suckling the tit of Unions, Liberal Activists and Socialists who have put us in this position (AT THEIR DOING!!!) Of course this will never happen, because if they do that, they dont have any more MONEY!!! That kind of kills their re election bids. |

If we don't get it right in 2012, I doubt we will be given the luxury of another free election cycle.

If they keep Obama but we keep the House AND gain the Senate, we're still in the hole, because they'll run wild with Executive Order. And they are already talking about raising a BILLION dollars to reelect him. Where did the first 600 million come from? (last time) why bother with the technicalities of the law on donations if you pander to that pesky matching funds part... I'm amazed it took them this long to figure it out. |
