These are really nice. Good wood, nice metal finish, LONG octagon barrel with full buckhorn sights. The only thing I wish they'd done differently is the rollmarking. '1897 COWBOY' is enormous, almost the width of a barrel flat. Unnecessary. I like them too, I have a Marlin "TEXAN" with the short octagon barrel and buck-horn sights. It is a very smooth shooter and very accurate too. One of my favorite plinkers. / likes CCI std V ammo.........Don in SC
