narr or i'd have lost the .416 by now for sure
spent the afternoon with the NSW state parliament and premier ( like your state Governor ) we have a agreement on the carbon tax ( they will oppose it policy wise and publicly ) but the lowlifes are too scared to support the motion to pull out of the UN ... politicians eh ? cant shoot em but they do need it .. but thats the biggest state backing the people against the socialists , and that makes 5 state governments here that are onside for the carbon tax but i've only one state that will support the UN withdrawl so thats not looking to good , i've been trying but i'm only one man , we'll need 4 states to get a majority vote to pull out of the UN otherwise it'll be a piecemeal deal and they never work .. news of the size of the operation is leaked heres how its looking in the press here
http://www.news.com.au/national/canb...-1226115293612 THOUSANDS of demonstrators will gather in front of Parliament House tomorrow and next week scores of trucks will blockade the building as the Government faces a season of protests over its carbon pricing scheme. Tomorrow's Election Now No Carbon Tax Rally is expected to be bigger than the March protest which Opposition Leader Tony Abbott addressed in front of signs attacking "Bob Brown's Bitch", Prime Minister Julia Gillard. Organisers want to command a fleet of buses carrying protesters from 13 Sydney suburbs, the New South Wales central coast, the Southern Highlands and Melbourne. It will be followed next Monday by the arrival of convoys of trucks which could shut down roads leading to Parliament House. It will be the first big-wheel protest since January, 1995, when logger fighting a forest agreement used 350 trucks to circle the Parliament and Prime Minister Paul Keating. Plans are for 11 convoys setting off from as far away as Port Hedland in WA's Pilbara region, Cairns in Far North Queensland and Bendigo in central Victoria. They will gather at overnight holding areas around Canberra and set off at dawn for Parliament House. Mr Abbott said today the week marked an "infamous" political anniversary. "This is the week in which we will mark the first anniversary of the Prime Minister's infamous promise to the Australian people before the last election: 'There will be no carbon tax under the government I lead'," he told reporters. "This is a promise that will haunt the Prime Minister and the Government every day until their ultimate political death. "This Government fundamentally lacks legitimacy and not because it lacks a majority but because it lacks integrity and nothing more highlights the Government's lack of integrity than this monumental broken promise." Prime Minister Julia Gillard told a cabinet meeting today the Government would stress Australia's economic stability as it fought in Parliament to get two critical pieces of legislation through. She said there was "big legislation" to be passed this session of Parliament, including the carbon pricing legislation and the mining profits tax. "There's no better place in the world to be than Australia as we deal with this global instability," Ms Gillard told ministers. "Our economy is strong, we came out of the global financial crisis strong as a result of the work we as a Government did with the Australian community, including employers and unions to keep people in work. "So, I think the whole nation can be proud of this economy we've built together and it's a very resilient economy." Tomorrow's rally is expected to be better organised and less inflammatory than the March protest, where the viciousness of the placards detracted from the protest message to the Government. It has been better planned and resources. Sydney radio station 2GB was to have broadcast all day from Federation Square in front of Parliament House but pulled out a few weeks ago. However, other supporters have been found. In one example, Menzies House, an influential conservative blog site named after the founder of the Liberal Party Robert Menzies has been promoting the rally and the convoy. "This is a great opportunity, and we hope you will be able to take part in any way you can," wrote the managing editor of Menzies House, Tim Andrews. Read more: http://www.news.com.au/national/canb...#ixzz1V6AsFlpm FYI the liberal party here is very similar to your GOP , and not liberal as in screaming socialists type liberals , different terminology ... So far, I've only heard one politician suggest that we should eliminate the Federal Reserve - that's Ron Paul, and the mainstream media portrays him as loony. I haven't heard any politicians suggest that we should get out of the U.N. |

You knew that getting Australia to pull out of the UN was a no win proposition but symbolic nonetheless. A lot of us want to pull out of the UN, the only people who want us in are those sucking on our money tit. They want the power, the glory, the leadership positions and all they require from successful nations is that we pay for it. I still think they should close the building in New York City and all those who really want to be part of the UN should move their location to Mogadishu.
Seriously good luck on the carbon tax but don't hold your breath. Most of our politicians who make campaign promises and then have to eat their words when they couldn't deliver. Political reality always seems to hold more weight than high ideals. I don't follow your politics as closely as I do ours and the UK but every man in office has been hoisted on his petard and they knew it when they made their speech. The pathetic part of that is they don't care, they will accept the damage because they know few will remember it 3 months from now and in 6 months it will be ancient history for most. Us dinosaurs with long memories are a small minority they can drown out with money and rhetoric. I know some of them care but I am just as sure most of them only say what they have to say in order to win votes. Getting elected is more important than actually following through on their promises. If they can keep a promise its a bonus but excuse me for being cynical, the thing for a politician is to get into office then stay there. All else is incidental.

grump that's not cynical , thats reality , me i have big dreams , a free land , a free people and tyrants a thing of history ( i wish that of islam too ) but i gotta act on what i believe , Its how the Good Lord made me
i dont know another way to be , so thick headed i may be , wishfull optomist maybe , but no way will i sit on my butt and just gripe about it , if i want it i must make it so QED i must act . and here it is , my final act , i cant do it all , , but i got it started , let's see where the day does and , where those who will take the reins will go remember this is act 1 scene one of opening night its been 8 years and lots of rehersals and recruiting to get this far and i fully expect it to take a year or two to really take off , but if today goes well it will wake up more folks and the next time it'll be bigger , my goal was to start it , i'd like to finish it too but i think thats best left up to someone better suited than a cranky old ex digger .. we've been stacking the deck a bit here ourselves remember political parties for the shooters and people not politics .. thats the other side theres many sides to all this today, we'll see how it all comes together for the first time in 8 years ... May the Good Lord Bless us and Keep us , for we must try we cannot do less , to do so would be treason to ourselves and the future generation of Australians and we aint traitors .. so lets fight peacefully .. for now |

Chris here, Jack's older brother.
Jacks been detained when he tried to enter Parliament with a offensive symbol, The Australian Flag The Prime Minister has instructed the Security to deem the Australian Flag a Offensive object. The PM has refused to address the crowd here calling us extremists. The boss of the Security detail who is holding Jack says he'll be released after a security check , when i asked what checks , his responce was and i will quote "Mate, i have not got a clue what the communists inside want , but it will come to nothing as its my intention to issue a notice of complaint to Jack , ban him from the premises for 24 hours and leave it at that". When i asked the Security Boss if he'll get a criminal charge he replied , "No-one here will press a charge against him unless he does something dumb and that's not likely now is it?". and walked away laughing. I think they see it as a joke or worse that our flag is now a offensive object Jack has been helping a lot of the security teams pass their firearms training and is well known to the security people here and throughout the Nations Capital. Radio 2GB has arrived after being threatened to be de-registered if they did broadcast live from Parliament. www.2gb.com and hit the listen live button. I'll give the PC back to Jack when he gets back from his adventure , but i'll keep this site and the many others up to date until then. |

I'm BAAAAAAAAACK !!!
![]() had a cuppa with the security blokes after they where instructed to take my offesive object from me ( i got it back ) HunterAlpha1 its been disabled cause i posted a series of childrens shows from Iran and saudi that showed how they brainwash kids to become suicide bombers on nationally funded TV , so the Iranians have grouped there internet teams and posted 50,000+ complaints despite the video only being viewed a few hundred times .. censorship by complaint ( or jihad of censorship) i've been taking on the funders of terror ( Iran and saudi ) showing the planet what they really do based on their own childrens TV shows and this is just their responce back to the rally here .. the MSM is reporting we have only 2000 folks here , the security team have stated theres 20,000 people here in their report ( i saw it while detained ) i was detained after hearing the PM and others state they had not been invited so i went to show them where they declined to attend in their email replies to the invitations i and many many others have made , but on the way through the door i was told i would have to leave my flag outside when i explained the gay folks carried their rainbow flags inside the security advised me that my flag had been classed as a offencive object and that if i did not surrender it i'd have to be detained my responce was the words of the commander of the Rats of Tobruk to the nazi's in ww2 surrender the flag? you blokes are nuts ... so i got walked to the security station and given a cuppa and had a chat , i did not get to see the PM , i think it was a sting that did not work as the security followed the rules , they did as they where told , but did not cause me any grief and so i'm allowed to stay outside on the public walkway but no closer .. so i'll sit up here on top of the truck and watch .. cheers eh |
