Default 2011 National High Power Rifle championships

Congrats to my old friend from hometown Carl Bernosky on his 10th National High Power Rifle Champioship Title. Still using that AR 15 platform.

Bernosky posted a 2393-160x to take first place and win the prestigious Mumma Trophy which brings the title of High Power Rifle Champion. In addition to winning the overall high power rifle championship, Bernosky took the title of NRA Match Rifle Champion. He also won top honors in the following matches: Erdman Trophy Match (596-31x); Nevada Trophy Match (798-42x); Clarke Trophy Match (799-63x); Marine Gunner D.I. Boyd II Memorial Trophy Match (1195-76x); Scott Trophy Match (200-15x); Appreciation Cup Match (200-18x); Crescent Cup Match (200-15x); and the Crowell Trophy Match (200-17x).

Have not in years. He does not go out to the old rail yard like we do LOL. We grew up together in a small town of about 500 people. He was one of a group of 7 or 8 of us that used to hang out together. His father and grandfather had a shooting club when we were kids and they started with an indoor .22 range that we went to now and then. Carl shot countless cases of .22 ammo and then moved up to the big stuff. He won his first championship when only a teenager. He did take several years off and started competing again several years ago. He now is on Team Hornady. His grandfather and father had a furniture store where he learned woodcrafting and Carl now builds custom stocks and guns. He has an online store site. A lot of olympic shooters use his stocks.
