25/25 Pistol Silhouette Match, 25 yards, 25 targets, 30 rounds, and 10 minutes. One's score is the number of steel critters left standing and the low score wins. Been shooting it since 2007 and no one has cleaned the rack yet. Three classes: open sighted pistol, open sighted revolver, and finally scoped handgun (any action style).

That looks like a blast! I've been looking to get some different kind of target (paper is getting a bit boring for me), but I don't know that I would be able to go that extensive... yet!

1/5th scale
We also shoot this match from 50 yards with .22 sporters - 50/25 Sporter. As a matter of fact, we combine all of our monthly .22 sporter matches in one long day's pentathlon on the last weekend in October each year. Here is a fun slide show of last years Sporter Master event put together by Tony Gilmore: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGZp1...layer_embedded Last edited by Sheffieldshooter; 08-19-2011 at 07:56 PM.. |
