I need to do a review on mine. I am waiting on an XD to come thru that needs sights pushed. The springfield XDs are the ULTIMATE test for a sight pusher.

i'll probably end up having to push them again if that set screw comes loose... still need to get some blue Loctite to put on the threads of the set screw so it stays in there.

Skip the blue. get green penetrating grade. it has blue hold strength but will penetrate and seep into the dovetail too.

they got blue, red, purple, and green
Purple is the weakest, blue and green are the same strength but green penetrates, and red is the hard stuff.

There's a guy in the Buy/Sell forum that makes them out of southern California. I think his username is "dafish."
It's really good. Was recommended to me by JLA. Costs $49 shipped. I figured why not since online they're about $150 from what I saw and there's no sense in keeping on going to the gunsmith to get em adjusted. I can upload a photo tomorrow once I get my camera working.

I bought one from him to! I've used it on a couple of kimbers and it worked well.

I'm pretty sure they each bought this sight pusher from our Buy/Sell/Trade Forum.
But it would be hard to know that if you weren't in the TFF Chat Room last Friday (I think) evening.

Wow... two posts in the time it took me to put that together. I guess that's the downside of opening 12 threads in different tabs, then working my way through them.

![]() Here's a picture. Shim the sides with a couple pieces of cardboard to protect the finish, then I just got it tight to the sight and used a 3/4 Gear Wrench to turn the nut to push the sight. Worked great for $49 shipped.

I marked 'TOP' on the top of every piece of steel and aluminum on it, since it is hand made for the most part, and orientation for clamping it in a vice. I then degreased the clamping blocks with denatured alcohol and put some felt tape on them to make a non-marring clamp for the slides. worked out pretty good. I'll take pics in a bit..
