Default Marlin 795 Question

Absolutely love my new Marlin 795ss,Deadly accurate with scope, now I want to remove the sights. Question is, wil it affect the accuracy and can I get somethime to fill the dovetail openings in the barrel. Not sure yet hot to remove front sight. I would love to remove sights but I want to keep it pretty
Thanks, Gerard

Check out Cabela's or MidwayUSA for a sight blank. Here is a side view installed "blued on black". You can get them in stainless.

Won't affect accuracy at all to remove 'em.
Be sure to keep the removed sights in a labeled ziplock in your gun safe so you don't loose them.
