Hello,

I've been gone quite a while. Why? I don't know. I guess I sort of just lost touch with the forum. Looks like my last login was 2009

Anyway, I am in the business of making sights for the Mosin-Nagant, and while searching the web for pertinent info for R&D, I stumbled across a thread here where the gent in question was getting 1.4MOA with that old rifle!

Several others posted along that same vein.

I'm very glad to have found folks who recognize the worth of that old battle rifle!

Besides the Mosin, I'm into 1911 pistols -- I build my own -- am just getting back into knives, and love squirrel hunting.

Lots to share and lots to learn. I see some familiar names but most are new to me.

Looking forward to looking around here and kicking in when I can!

P.S. As a "glad to be back" gift, please find attached a mouse pointer made from a Mosin-Nagant front sight! It's been tested on Vista and Mac computers, but suppose it will work equally as well with most other OS's. Regards, J.S.

Glad to have you back! I think I remember you from when I first started "Bench Reading"(lurkin') here about 2 yrs ago.

And thanks for the mouse "pointer, clicker" thing! Way cooler than the little space shuttle I used before! Hahahaha!
