Love shooting this revolver. but beginning to have a problem with the sights. the front blade sight is same color as the rear groove sight. so the front sight blurrs into the grove and sometimes i find my self shooting low or to the side or both. took me a while to figure this problem out. Had thought it was the ole eyes going, but just had eyes checked and perscription is still ok.
any ideas on how to fix this? some sort of paint maybe? this is not one of the revolvers with adjustable sights, just the old fashion type.

Thanks Jack..feel like DUH..now..should have thought of that myself!!
as to targets..well mothernature has provided me with lots and lots of Pine Cones!! and its a good way to move them off the driveway and walking path! My puppy is getting used to the .22 pistol now and hardly jumps when i use the lr .22..the shorts she runs to see what the pine cone moved for! soon hope to have her interested in Tree Rats!! just got to make sure she dont develope a taste for them raw! also use empty water bottles (plastic) and Pepsi cans (empty also) its fun to "walk a can or bottle all the way around the pond! I can shoot up about 100 shots just on one walk! |
