Default General Information on FrogLube

As part of this I thought I would post up some small FAQ types from time to time here. So here is the first right out of the gate.

1. How long will a 4oz liquid last (how many cleanings)? 1. 2 - 3 initial applications --- when you first use it, it takes more due to it's absorption. If the gun is dirty, or has significant carbon, a lot will be consumed 'decarbonizing' the gun. After that, you should see the consumption drop. 2. The more you shoot, the more you'll use. Why? Because we recommend reuse after every use; liquid in the internals and paste on the externals. This will ensure protection from the elements and cleaning while the gun is sitting in the case or safe.

2. How long will it last putting my guns in a safe? After it's saturated, you'll know because the gun won't absorb any more, then it'll last at least 2 years. That's as long as I've been watching it. It could possibly go longer, but I'll have to wait until I witness it. In a storage mode, 'more is better'.

3. What's the difference between the paste and the liquid? Only one; an additive called PAO , Poly-alpha Olefin. Hi grade biodegradeable cutting oil. Used in the drilling industry. It prevents solidifying---keeps it in a liquid state. Why? So you can get FrogLube in places you can't reach with the paste.
