Default Getting ready to go out to the country for some target practice

I built this target stand today along with the target. I can plink on it or attach some 8 1/2 by 11 inch targets to it. I'm getting my new Chiappa 1911-22 today. I will be doing some shooting this weekend. I will keep you all posted...........

Nice looking target and stand. I know you are looking forward to shooting the new pistol. I hope all goes well and you have a ball.

I have heard a lot of good things about that pistol.

Nice target, but if you cut some holes in the "sweet spots" and stapled some paper targets there, it would last you a lot longer.

I have a Chiappa 1911-22 and I really like it, other than the tripper pull. The trigger on mine is really stiff and after over 1000 rounds, it does not seem to be getting better. I do not have a trigger gauge but I would guess that it is about 10 to 12 pounds.

Personally, I carry a gun because I'm too young to die and too old to take an ass whoopin'.....author unknown (but obviously brilliant)
