Add me to the list- Ruger SR9c and S&W SD9. Both shoot better than me, and I love em.

I have a Ruger P89 and a Browning HP. The Browning has Nazi proof marks and was in the first series of HP's made after the Nazis took over. Serial Number of 99xxx - all matching. It still shoots my hollow point reloads quite well.

I've never carried a hi-cap 9mm, though I carry a Kahr PM9. When it's easier to conceal I carry a 1911 in .45 ACP, but I would never dispute the fact that hi-cap 9mms offer tremendous capacity, and loaded with the right bullets (my preference would be Gold Dots or Barnes TAC-XPs for general use, though you gotta be careful with the Barnes' penetration) they can be exceptionally effective.

I bought my husband a Browning 9mm for his birthday, he's been wishing for this for awhile! I like it too, but too big to carry. I'll stay with my Sterling 380 for now.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A HI-CAPACITY MAGAZINE!!

They are either STANDARD CAPACITY or REDUCED CAPACITY!

Very nice Hi-Power. You are an excellent wife. I can tell by your choice of firearms.

While I agree with your reasoning jacksonco. I would argue that there are High capacity magazines. Take the Beretta 92fs for example.

10 rounds = Reduced Capacity
15 rounds = Standard capacity (I'll even admit the 17 and 18 round flush fitting mags)
20 rounds and more = High Capacity (extended magazine)

Standard capacity example

High capacity example

Jacksonco and Mesinge2 I agree with you guys 100%,15 rounds are just standard capacity. I never gave it much thought,I guess I fell for the slang when discribing 9mm magazines. The two blued ones in my photo are Mecgar 17 rounders.I know that 9mm's are great fun and I have really enjoyed looking at all of the pictures posted.Mesinge2, for sure I'm going to get one of those PacMeyer slip on pistol grips,I like the look of them.

I'll Play.
I have a Browning HP Practical, Sig SP2022, Springfield XD and a recently acquired Kel Tec P11, I suppose that counts, since there are 12 round magazines available for it.

The vote is in: 9mm. After twisting your brains for info on different makes, models, and calibers. My next concealed pistol will be a semi-auto 9mm.
Now to decide on make? Sure I want the top of the line, but I can't afford it. So, The military/police types look very good due to their toughness and composition. I do like the Markov or CZ types. The Ruger isn't bad or the Taurus. If I can get a good deal, the Walther, it would be the weapon of choice and become a family heirloom for coming generations.
The ammo is not as costly as the bigger calibers. Plus, in a time of crises I think that the ammo would be more available than any other handgun caliber, except for the .22 LR.
