ATF makes pot scrubbers NFA - The Firearms Forum

In quite possibly the biggest herp derp since F&F (possibly even more retarded) the ATF has decided Chore Boy pot scrubbers are now an NFA item. Now if you would like to clean your pots, you're going to have to fork over a $200 stamp and subject to the federal background check, as well as the extensive waiting periods associated with NFA items.

There are certainly things that our government does that make me scratch my head, but this one has me beyond words. I have no idea what emotion even describes this. The complete lunacy of this has me totally speechless.

be careful Enzo guy

we had a cleaning tool here that was described as a gun accessory and folks got done for haveing gun parts without a licence ... one guy in alaska had fitted one to the end of a rifle ( after weeks of work and trial and error ) and said it would be good to get in close to kill something and not make a lot of noise

a soft drink bottle makes a better one time silencer .. but folks got locked up and fined and thats all the UN cares about .. scaring folks away from gun ownership

Awe crap, fiberglass insulation too?! I don't know how many 1,000's of square feet of R-30, R-19 and R-13 insulation I've just installed. Now I have to register my house with the BATF&E?

But it was cool for the crack heads to use them as char for years so they didnt suck hot crack sparks down their throat. Gimme a break.

The pot scrubbers can be used as replacement filling for the internal components of the suppressors in between the baffles.
