Fixing to order powder and primers as I already have some Hornady 162Gr A-Max Bullets
will be using CCI #250 Large Rifle Magnum primers and am really looking at Hodgdons H4831 for Powder as i see alot of talk in my manuels as it being the best. According to my Hornady 8th Edition Starting Load is 53.7 at 2600 FPS and Max of 59.7 at 2800 FPS does anyone else have a powder they prefer more for the 7mm Mag? it will be tuesday before i get powder and primers as i will call Midsouth in Clarksville and pick up myself so as to save the hazmat shipping fee and plus they are only 20 miles away. Thanks

IMR 7828 ssc is probably my overall favorite in the 7mm r.m. and .300 w.m. Another good one is RL19. Prior to my using 7828 my go-to powder was always H4831 sc. My load is quite a bit higher than the max listed. I won't tell you what it is for liability purposes.

The Ramshot magnum is almost 200 fps faster than the load you listed. Due to my uncanny ability to make typos, I do not list loads online. Go to Ramshot powders website and the data is there for you in their online data. |

I like the new power pro line from Alliant. I have been using 2000MR in my .308 for a year now and just started experimenting with 4000MR in my .243. might be worth a lookin. I get excellent accuracy and top velocity in everything i have used it in.

I was telling you I had much better results with the powder I listed than the one you asked about.
