I AM LOOKING FOR A PART FOR THIS GUN AND DON'T KNOW WHERE TO LOOK,ANY HELP?

IT IS A ALLEN WHEELOCK NAVY CENTER FIRE REVOLVER 6 SHOT

ALSO IS THERE ANY WAY TO BACKTRACK THE SERIAL # IT IS 13.

or better yet get their phone number off their site and call them. They could have the part, know where to find it, OR in rare cases know who can or they might make it. They are good people with years of experience with all types of weapons from before the revolutionary War through the Civil War and even some modern firearms to boot. Chances are they have one or 2 in their collection as well and might have aparts gun folr sale.

Hawg, I would venture to speculate that is is a conversion of one of their 36 or 44 1861 models. Now who did the conversion is anyone's guess. Pictures of the firearm would be a great help IMHO. I know ANY front stuffer model revolver used during the CW had people doing conversions to them once cartridges became more available and popular. I have seen colt dragoons that were converted and even saw a picture of a Patterson that was converted to a rim fire cartridge.
