I just picked up a 10/22 ruger, what would be a good scope in the 40-50 dollar range??

For cheapy plinker use, I'd go with one of the better model Simmons scopes. For a bit more I'd opt for a Mueller.

I had a cheap Tasco scope on my rifle a few years back. It went bad. Went and bought a $100.00 Nikon. I think it is the #6305. Mounted it, and went to the range. It had much better optics. I then realized that I never had mild headaches with the Nikon, and better clarity!
Think of it as going in for new glasses and them getting the prescription wrong! What will be the outcome? I think you know where I am going here!!! |
