XDgear magazine extension ? - The Firearms Forum

Does anyone know if the addition of this PistolGear magazine extension to the XD(m) magazine requires any permanent changes, i.e. drilling, etc. to the original XD(m) magazine ?

no irreversible changes, it attaches to the lips on the bottom of the mag and the plate retains it. Just know that your last round hold open will no longer work. Also if you have a mag well, the mags may not fully seat. That was a issue on the Sig X5's.
