i just bought a few things from a guy and part of the package was a ton of oregon trails bullets. he gave me the following...

40sw(1250)
45(1100)

If you're not going to use them yourself, you'll be able to sell them and recoup some of your costs. If I were to sell them, I'd ask:

40sw(1250) _ $85
45(1100) _ $90
44mag(250) _ $25
38sp(500) _ $35
9mm(400) _ $25

also a box of hornaday hollow points(copper) qty:100 _ $15

This should be a good ballpark for what you could readily get for them.

Worm is spot on. Somebody here will need them.

I personally would pack therm up and save them. Ill almost guarantee you that you will need them someday. Back when i first started handloading I bought a bunch of equipment off an ol timer that was getting out of it and it too came with tons of bullets, mostly 9mm and .45. I didnt have a 9 at the time and pretty much gave away the nearly 4K 9mm 115 gr projectiles. About a year later I needed them and had to buy them..

I'll take the whole lot at a nickel each. That ain't what Worm says he'd sell 'em for, but it's 3700 bullets sold for 185 bucks, with no muss no fuss no having to list 'em.

And that's not even knowing the weights, or in the case of the Hornady's, the caliber. But I can probably use 'em.

Poor little Brisky missed his golden opportunity, you'll just have to go out and buy the 41 Special you were thinking about Brisk!

I think I know that same guy! And now hes trying to figure out a way to justify dropping a thousand bucks on a new rifle STOCK (not even the whole rifle) 2 weeks before christmas.. I better talk some sense into him before hes gotta move winchester and stella out of the doghouse.

You know, dude, if you don't want to sell 'em to me, that's fine. They're yours, after all.

A response to the email would have been nice, though. Even if the response is "I changed my mind" or "I got a better offer".
