Default Help SAECO # 12 Bullet Mould

Have a SECO 3 cavity bullet mould labeled Precision #12, E-mailed SAECO but he wasn't sure on it's idenity due to company being sold and not clear records and believing it may be 130 gn, but when I cast it, was 137 gn average weight. Anyone have C.O.L and Powder Charge for same. Caliber .38. Gene

What caliber would that be?

And for Cartridge Overall Length (which is what I presume you mean by COL), what cartridge?

Gene, that could be a 130 grain mold that you cast with a softer alloy than what it was designed to use. 7 grains isn't much to be worried about as long as the size is right. What diameter did it cast to? What nose configuration is it?

Sounds like could be your casting alloy.. Pure lead will weigh more than a hard cast alloy or wheel weights.....Like Snuffy said, aient nothing to worry about.

Really just guesses so far, we need to know what cartridge you're reloading and the type/shape of the bullet...
