Welcome to TFF Gunslinger69 ! Good looking range buddy ya have there too; we've got a bunch of 4 legged kids here in our TFF family.

Do you manage to get out and do much shooting in the winter months up there in ME? Waaay too cold for my blood; I was enjoying 73* yesterday and it's 62* for the high today, my kind of winter.

Semper Fi,

Woolley

What's your definition of a "very mild winter"? Lol, I deem it frigid anytime the temps drop below 50* and anything below 60* is down right chilly.

It's been hectic at work and recently moved, so I haven't been to the range in 8 or 9 weeks which has me itching to get out of the house and do some 'paperwork'. Feb - May is excellent weather for getting to the range here in Central TX, temps are between 45 - 75 for highs in those months and usually not much rain.
I do need to add a few more toys though, I'm wanting to add a R-25 and a 1911 to my collection.

Woolley, Well it's only snowed 3 times and it hasn't been below 15 F. To me that's mild but I've been here my whole life. I just got some goodies for my new AR for Christmas and I dying to try them out.

Just wondering I graduated HS in 1968....but had a sweet 1969 Camaro Z-28, and later a clean 1969 Mach 1.

I spent a year in Minnesota way back when. I think a mild winter there is when you can get water on tap.

How did your lawn get into a t-shirt?
Why would your lawn want to wear a t-shirt?

This jarred my preserves. I heard on TV that Romney, while Gov. of Mass. pushed through a law taxing each firearm in your home at the rate of $100 each. I checked and the present Gov wants to increase the tax to $300 annually. Romney at the time said "It's a good way to get rid of guns". I guess I'll vote for anyone except OBAMA or ROMNEY. Even Ron Paul is beginning to look good! Next they'll tax toilets, TV's beds, windows, etc etc. Is it time to decorate lampposts?
