See, this one I like a lot less than the other two. Not nearly as visually appealing and I really can't get with the grip mod and the grips themselves.

A few hundred, perhaps, but probably not more than $500. A lot of that is subjective, but with these after-market embellished guns that is where a lot of the value comes from.

Pretty Gun, I love the Longhorn engraving. Pretty Fancy Indeed!

The amateur engraving is quaint.

I guess the word 'subjective' applies. I did it as a fanciful project. At least one 'qualified' gunperson (besides myself) loves it. Got major interest from local gunshop owner - who is owner of some super-fine pieces.

I know my engraving has suffered over time, becoming 'quaint'. My SAA and TL S&W posted here I did 30 years ago. Now at 88 I don't do anything as good as I did then. That said, to Joe Sixpack an engraved gun is an engraved gun - no gradation. Fine work is 'casting pearls' ----

rhmc,
I'd be proud to own that piece and display it - I think it is a great interpretive piece - and the .45 bore doesn't detract from it. But, hey, what the heck do I know, I collect H&Rs.
