Default Henry 45/70 ??

Pondering a lever action 45/70 to complete my gun collection, I have a marlin 30-30 and its a great rifle. But what about the Henry, Does anybody own one,
Just keeping my options, it looks like a nice rifle and looking for feedback, thanx..

Dont think henry has a lever .45/70.. I think the biggest they got is the .30-30 big boy. And the only .45 cal bore is a .45 colt big boy.

I'll be watchin' your post oldbrass.

If I can't find a Marlin in 45-70 it will more than likely be the Henry.

Well cool deal then. I like the henrys because they load like a .22. No cut up thumbs from loading thru the gate.

Only thing i really hate about shooting my marlin 1894 .44 mag
