Can someone settle an argument please, Did titegroup start off as a powder for 22LR's. I think I read that somewhere and I pulled an old federal wildcat and it sure looked like it.

Cant say that for TG is/was for .22LR..But I do know that the powder manufacturers will sometimes develop a powder for a certain ammunition maker...Under a contract, the powder manufacturer agrees not to produce this powder for sale to the public or other ammunition makers for a number of years..
One of them that comes to mind is Power Pistol, made by Alliant.....I 'believe' this was the powder used in many Winchester pistol loads for years...

Yea I've herd that one too, some say power pistol was made for 40S&W but I use it mostly for 9MM. I here ammo manufacturers use special blended powder now a days. thanks Duke.
