Blueprints for the M16 rifle - The Firearms Forum

There are a lot of machining plans for a lot of guns out there. And for that, I've been wondering if there are sites that you know where one can download those plans free of charge.

Yeah, I know for all you guys it's illegal but the M16 has been around since the 70s and practically, it's public domain by now.

If there are any machinists out there who can recommend a site, I'd be glad to check on their leads.

My M16 needs to get some chambers fixed and I hope to get plans so that I won't be wrecking it when I get it machined.

I like it. __________________ It takes 43 muscles to frown, 17 to smile, and 3 for proper trigger squeeze. The latest caliber or gear is no substitute for experience and skill. Rifles and cartridges don't make hits -- shooters do. Fact of life: After Monday and Tuesday, even the calendar says WTF!
