i narrowed my purchase to either a ruger LC9 or a berratta 9000S,would like some in put by gun savy people: who have more knowledge than me,,thanks

Well your compairing a slim 9mm Double action only to a wide 9mm DA/SA. Both guns have proven to be reliable but the 9000s will be a better overall shooter. The DA only trigger on the Ruger is long and some what heavy and can inhibit good shot placement for some people. It really takes getting used too. The downfalll of the 9000s is its wider slide compared to the Ruger. Before you make a final decision, I would suggest finding a store that has both and trying them. Hold them, pull the trigger, stick it in you waist band (if your looking for ccw) see how it feels. See if it fits you. Both guns are good but they both have very different feels to them .
