Default How can anyone say Lee directions are bad?

Since they don't put them in the box with the Loadmaster...you can't complain about how badly written they are.

I can however complain that they're not there at all.

Yes I found them online, but c'mon - either put them in there or give me something that says where to get them. Assuming I have internet access, a printer, and can find them is going a bit far IMO.

+1 - ALL my Lee goods came with printed instructions - perhaps it was an open box that some kind soul had pilfered? There is always the possibility that it was simply a screw-up in their packaging department? Stuff happens.

Personally I rely more on their self-help videos.

Both of my LEE presses had printed instructions in the box.

Bought from titan reloading - they're just down the street from Lee and the press box had a sticker on it 'pickup by titan 1/18' - so it's less than a week old, the box was well stapled.
They did include their 2012 catalog.

Their website has all the manuals and there's lots of videos on the net to help as well.
Of course I get my new toy and have to work a double and all weekend...so no time to play with it till next monday or tuesday - and I have to build/modify my bench to mount it on so add a day or two...

At least now tho you have an idea of what you need. BTW, I have a spare Hornady 7th ill donate to you. It is another of the essentials IMO. I bought the new hornady 8th a couple months ago and its the hornady 7th + some. So i dont need the 7th anymore. Its yours if you want it. I'll need your address again.

Does the 8th ed Hornady have loads for .223 in the 75 gr range? I was looking up some information for some trials but it stopped well short of 70 gr. I had to look in the "Service Rifle" section. I know the pressure will be diff if I use that data.

P.S. loads will be used in a target rifle (Bolt).

Its still the same infidel. The std rifle data in teh 8th stops with 60 gr bullets and service rifle data covers 68, 75 and 80 gr bullets. Ill scan them right quick..

The service rifle data will be safe to use to develop a load for your bolt action. Just start at start and work up carefully.

Got the bench built yesterday and mounted the press, began to set it up....my 9mm press came with 38/357 dies in it, plate too. Box is clearly marked "9mm".

We'll see on monday how good Lee's customer service is.
