I shoot fmj bullets and the gunshop where I buy them carries gold color bullets and there just in a plasic bag so I dont know the maker.Im going to have to ask him next time but my question is I was in a box store over the weekend and they have remington brass colored bullets.Are these the same and just a different color or are they made from somthing different altogher.

Duno, could be, but I doubt it. My guess is they are Montana Gold bullets.

I've gotten brass colored Armscor bullets. There really are too many options for us to speculate.

Difference in a guilding metal jacket and a plated bullet. Id bet the gold color bullets are either plated or have copper clad jackets. The yellow brass colored bullets are guilding metal jackets. The guilding metal is an alloy of brass and copper and maybe a touch of nickel.

The bulk bags could be either remington or winchester bulk, or maybe even military pulldowns. I bought a 5K bag of .224 pulldowns at a gunshow for 150 bucks. cheap shootn right there.
