Default Grips From Carl,

Back in the July, 2010 TFF drawing, I won a set of 1911 custom wood grips that Carl had made and donated to the drawing. I was hesitant to enter for the fact I didnt own a 1911, but was shoping for one. Well, I was looking back, and I didnt post a picture of the grips that Carl had made.
The grips are made from PurpleHeart Wood and are an awesome example
of Carls hard work and craftsmanship that he puts into his grips.
I am still looking to buy myself a 1911 and came real close to buying
one this past weekend. But whichever 1911 I do end up with, these grips will
definatly be a fine addition. I was going back through the forum threads as my pc was down for a while and realized that I hadn't posted any pics of the grips that Carl had donated! Better late than never, Ive always heard. And trust me, my photography doesn't do the grips justice.
