I went shooting with a retired female NYPD Officer that has become a close friend. She was retired when she was shot in the hand and she still shoots. She just got a SIG 238 and it is an awesome little gun. She tried it out today and now I really want the 9mm version (the 938).
This is what went to the range today: ![]() And here is the 238 vs. as FS 1911: ![]() ![]() Here is the SIG 238 in her hands at 7 yards with Hornady Z-maxx ammo. She said that the 238 recoils less than the Bersa even though the 238 is significantly smaller. ![]() Video: .380 ACP SIG P238 ![]() All my shooting was done at 14 yards: I shot my new S&W 1911 E-Series up against my Colt Combat Elite. I actually think the S&W might be more accurate. It is grouping tighter but it is also grouping consistently left for me. I need to drift my rear sight. S&W 1911 E-series: ![]() Video: .45 ACP S&W 1911 E-Series ![]() Colt Combat Elite with a new Shoot-N-C: ![]() Video: .45 ACP Colt Combat Elite ![]() Then I exhausted the last of my DoubleTap 300gr. Nosler JHP in my S&W 629 Snubbie with a third Shoot-N-C: ![]() Video: .44 Mag S&W 629-6 Deluxe Talo Edition ![]() ![]() ![]() and the target after I got it off the floor : ![]() ![]() All-in-all about 800 rounds spent today. .

I love the 629 flame thrower. You just don't see this as much when you shoot outdoors in sunlight.

Thanks for sharing, looks like a great day at the range to me.
Those SW E series are awesome, I did shoot one and it was tight and accurate as they come.
