For some reason, Remington .22 "Golden Bullets" seem quite a bit easier to load into a clip than Federal "Champions" (the latter from Wal-Mart). Visually, I can't see any sigificant difference between the two cartridges, although the overall length of the Remingtons is about a milimeter or so longer, and the Remington's bullets are plated. Both are LR, 40-grain, solid points. Both feed, shoot, and eject fine.
Strange.
