Sorry people, I was thinking of some people who barely have two neurons to rub together having anything more lethal than a featherduster on the streets scares me. I am sure Emily will use her new acquisition wisely, and look forward to hearing more of her experiences.

Living in one of the bluest states makes me wanna stay compared to that. NOT.

We have open carry, concealed carry, and no retreat laws. I still wanna move.

As best I can BlackEagle .... finding these "things" isn't the easiest , the "main stream media" doesn't post her articles.

I'm glad to see that she's keeping up with the article. It appears that DC is relaxing some of it's gun laws, maybe in response to her articles about the BS she's had to go through.

But this comment by Democrat Councilman Jack Evans shows his complete disregard for the Constitution.
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/...-rights-in-dc/
Quote:
The liberal council is overwhelmingly anti-gun, but it is feeling the heat from pending court cases and a newly Republican-controlled House of Representatives. Councilman Jack Evans, Ward 2 Democrat, voted for the bill under political pressure. “Council member Mendelson called me last night and said, ‘This is what I believe we have to do in order to accommodate the concerns raised by Congress and, or, the courts,’ Mr. Evans told The Washington Times. “Although none of us like making it easier for someone to have a gun legally, we believe that this is what we have to do.”

I find it ironic that I live in VA, right next door, and purchased my new 1911 last week and was in the shop for less that a half hour. What a bunch of Lib maroons.
