Help - My son just brought me his girlfriends R92 in pieces and would like me to reassemble it for him. It seems that her youngest likes to take things apart, but rarely puts them back together again. Now I am fairly good at puzzles and I have a pretty good idea how this pistol is supposed to go together, but there are some extra pieces that I am pretty sure don't belong to this pistol. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

FireHouse,
Check out the site below. Not exactly the same as your R92 but the internals are pretty much the same. http://www.gunpartscorp.com/catalog/...spx?catid=7927 Sprint |

FireHouseBrass,
The NEF revolvers were follow ons from the H&R '800 series' revolvers - check out the schematic here: http://www.gunpartscorp.com/catalog/...spx?catid=7914

Many thanks to the both of you for your quick response to my question. It does help knowing where and how the pieces parts fit. When comparing the pistol I have to the schematics the 929 is almost identical. Thanks again.

I have a p92 that I got new on my 21st birthday.
Recently something broke inside and the hammer bridge no longer comes up every time and the cylinder no longer rotates every time. The trigger mechanism works fine but a little metal hook broke off and three parts fell out. I caught them all and dropped them in a baggie. I am sure I could replicate the part, but I am not sure I could get them all back in place. I am not at all excited about paying a gunsmith more than the gun is worth to fix it, or popping out those pins and playing blacksmith's puzzle for the next 5 years. Is anyone interested in a non working NEF R92? Great gun! Swing out, 9-shot cylinder. Long, heavy barrel. Enjoyed shooting this gun for the past 18 years but I have moved on and I don't want to try to fix it. What is a broken R92 worth? |
