Anyone been able to settle into a accurate cartridge for this pistol? Using several different brands, I'm getting inconsistent groups from 15 yds and beyond. Haven't figured out which load this gun prefers yet.
Thanks fellows.

My son has one...........I still like the Winchester 333 or 555 ammo from Wally World (cheap and works in all my other 22 guns great), but the CCI and Blazer (CCI makes Blazer) is some of the best IMHO....just costs a little more.

Firebird, both of my MK III's seem to like the CCI ammo. I have used the Mini Mags in the Hunter and just sighted in the 5.5 Target this week with the Standard Velosity CCI. But I got a bunch of 36gr. Federal and even some Remington that picked up when things were getting scarce a couple years back and I will be shooting it in both. But would go with the CCI Std. Vel. if I was wanting to do well (assuming I could, ha).

Are you sure the human factor can be ruled out for the inconsistency? These pistols will digest just about anything, and have decent accuracy.

I have had a 22/45 for a couple of years. I taught my 11yo granddaughter to shoot with it. Mine will take any ammo that I feed it and she can out shoot me with it using any of the ammo.

I'm not real serious about mine, but I find that Automatch is better than any bulk, and Aguila Pistol Match is about the best. Pretty cheap, for about $30/brick from Midway.
