Smokin, do they let you hunt with scopes on yer BP's in Ohio? Out here in SD that is a big no no during the BP season.

No problem with scopes on muzzle loaders in Illinois either. I don't use one, but my son has one on his Austin & Halleck. I'm a little baffled by the reasoning behind bigboom not being allowed a scope for deer hunting in SD, while we can use them in Illinois and Ohio. Most of our shots are at closer ranges than would seem the case in SD. Ya' gotta' wonder about the people who think up some of these rules!
