Crossbreed holster first impressions

I received my Crossbreed holster yesterday which only took 3 weeks and 2 days from purchase. First off I will say its smaller then I expected, the quality on the holster is very nice. I got the horsehide and combat cut and couldn't of been happier with that decision. Takes a little adjusting to figure out the best place for comfort but I think i got that figured out am wearing it right now as i write this. I will say it is very comfy and I imagine that should be even better once wore in. As for concealing my SR9c it is outstanding, I was amazed on how well it concealed my SR9c with the 17 round mag and even better with the 10 rounder. I included some pics with the 17 round mag and 10 round mag. I couldn't be happier with this purchase and cant wait for my carry permit to come in the mail.

76highboy, I've been wearing a Crossbreed Supertuck in cowhide every day for the past two years. I work as a technician/installer for my ISP, so I spend a lot of time climbing ladders and towers, working under desks, and crawling under houses. I've never had a customer notice that I carry, and I've never had either the G30 that I carried for the first year or the G20SF that I've carried for the past year fall out of my pants or work loose.

The holster is so comfortable that you can almost forget that you are carrying. Matter of fact, I feel more uncomfortable when I'm not wearing it. The wide spacing of the belt clips, and the width of the metal clips themselves, do a fantastic job of distributing the weight of the gun over a larger area.

In some aspects, they are a lot like Glocks. They are uglier than hell, but they're great at what they do. If you value function over looks, you will be hard pressed to beat a Crossbreed. If you value appearances, then you should probably look at other holsters out there.

I received mine about a week ago, horsehide and also for an SR9c. It is very comfortable; the most so of any holster I've worn. I have put two applications of leather conditioner on it as suggested by the instructions. I think we have a winner with this holster.

Good to hear good things about them gunguy25, and the rest that posted.
I'm still in the thinking stage of what'll be my carry gun and if it turns out to
be a pistol, I'll probable go with Crossbreed.

It's just when I hear of a "pistol", I always think of slide action with a magazine and
well...a revolver as a revolver, hand loaded into the chamber.
A "hang-up' of mine maybe.

Yes I used to carry my SW 642 with CT laser on it. It was daily carry, comfortable for sure, all around a great holster for revolver or semi-auto.
