I bought a Lee bullet mold 45/70 .459 diameter 405gr.
I have a Lyman resizer and luber but I need to know what size die and what size top punch goes with that bullet. I have a bunch of different sizes but I dont know which one. Havnt done much casting except for .45 acp. Any and all help is appreciated.

If it's a Lee 459-405HB you can find a reference chart here http://www.castpics.net/subsite/TopPunches/Lee.html
Lyman 374 RCBS 374 |

Thats actually this mold http://leeprecision.com/mold-dc-457-405-f.html probably drops a bit larger that specified most of my Lee molds do.
Only cross reference top punch listed is the RCBS top punch 424 |

Going by the Midway part # that you posted and xreffing to the Lee catalog (90374) is the Lee catalog number), you've got the .457" 405gr flat-base mold.
That one should use the 424 punch instead of the 374 according to the castboolits/castpics chart. I don't know of the exact profile for those though...would have to ask a friend of mine who's not online. He does some .45cal casting for trapdoors. Ahhh...res45 beat me to the punch... Thanks Res! I think tomorrow I will cast a few bullets and try a 452 die with a 190 top punch and see what happens. I just tried it on a .459 cast bullet that I bought and it seemed to go ok. We shall see.
