![]() ![]() Lady was my Mother's cousin. Picture taken family ranch in Texas 1910-15. She became a teacher, never married. I visited her in Houston ca. 1965, she picked me up in her 1946 Chevy coupe, still looking like new with 90k miles on it. SAA is .38-40. When I was 16, 1940 I drove my Grandparents, OK to TX to visit people & place where they were born. Visiting Great Aunt, she went into back room, bringing back the gun, saying "I think Uncle Dave would want you to have this.' I still have it. Wonder what it's worth today. ![]()

After seeing so many of those old guns rusted, mutilated, and destroyed, either by neglect or by crude attempts to "restore" them, it is a pleasure to see one that shows just honest use. Nice gun.
