Default So, I Finally Found That Unaltered Remmie Mosin

But I finally got the Remington Mosin Nagant. And looks like I got it before Bubba got his stinking fingers on it. Paid way too much, but I've been trying to find an unaltered one for a long time.

Y'all know this is coming right? Where are the TARGETS?

And I am a wee bit envious...maybe a little bit more than a wee bit.

I have a 91 'Finn with the Konovalov rear sights like yours. It has the 1940 Finn barrel. I wish I could find a Remmie . Are the rear sites still marked in arshins on yours? Congratulations on such a nice find.

PS- Those tiny screws in front of the barrel bands do serve a purpose. I couldn't figure out what so I left mine off when I cleaned it . After about three rounds the bands walked forward and the top handguard went about 20 feet down range! Oops!

I'm waiting for my Winchester 1895 in 7.62X54R to come in before I go to the rangwe.
