Grieving with you in this difficult time, asking God to bring you and your family comfort, peace, and encouragement.
Here's the passage alluded to above: David's child has just died.
2 Samuel 12:22-24
Quote:
He answered, “While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept. I thought, ‘Who knows? The Lord may be gracious to me and let the child live.’ But now that he is dead, why should I go on fasting? Can I bring him back again? I will go to him, but he will not return to me.”
Then David comforted his wife Bathsheba,
When that happened in our family, Mom was crying, but also reminding Dad that Romans 8:28 is true...
Quote:
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
I also like Psalm 139, where God talks about how He hold our lives in His hands.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Take comfort in knowing that where she is there is only good and she is whole.
Peace to you and your family.

Prayer to you and your family. I can not imagine what that would be like. Words can not express how you and your family feel. I will continue to say prayers for your family.

Our Family greaves for you & yours & you will be in our Prayers.

I saw this poem years ago when my friends wife lost her child.

I hope this in some way eases some of your pain.

A little angel unknown I, am, my place is as an angel in a secret land.

I didn't have a name as such, you didn't get the chance,

I wasn't meant to live on earth just touch you by the hand.

I've been sent to touch your lives and I know you’ll think that cruel,

but its only special people that are chosen exceptions to the rules.

I knew you would love me from the very start,

from that first sighting & beating of my tiny heart,

so I know that it will hurt you that you have to say goodbye,

but I am your guardian angel now and I'll dry the tears from your eyes.

I'll be there by your side wherever you now go,

I will hear you speak of me often & what I might have been if I'd grown,

I'll be the special angel in the picture that you have,

I'll remind you of my dad,

I'll have your little features all of you as one

& I'll love you always as my special mum.

You might not have got to see me as a living breathing thing,

but I'll be the ribbon around your heart and my love will be deep within,

this pleasure I promise will be mine,

to be your guardian angel from now until the end of time.

I'll gift you with my presence every night within your dreams,

walk always as your special unknown angel

gifted to you within just for a short while,

so think of me often and smile,

For I, am your very own special unknown gifted child.

I recently came across something called "The Perinatal Hospice: Allowing Parents to be Parents,” by Dr. Byron Calhoun of West Virginia University-Charleston and here's a link that could be helpful:

http://www.heartlink.org/PDF/giftofalifetime.pdf

Dr Calhoun quotes from Amy Kuebeleck’s book, “Waiting for Gabriel,” who detailed giving birth to a son with a fatal illness:

“Parents can wait with their baby, protect their baby, and love their baby for as long as that baby is able to live. They can give that baby a peaceful life — and a peaceful goodbye. That’s not nothing. That is a gift.”

Still praying with you.
