Are there any quality semi auto .223 rifles out there that can be had in the $800 or less price range?
If not, what comes close?

Bushmaster carbon 15, cost $679.00 with a red dot scope and one magazine at Sportsmans Warehouse. I bought one and added a bump slide stock($359.00) and 60 round magazine($108.00) and it has never missed a beat. When I bought mine they had them on sale for $589.00.

Cheaper that dirt lists the Armalite M15 A4 carbine for less than $800. There is not a better carbine available at any price.

Build yer own.
![]() http://www.del-ton.com/ar_15_kits_s/1.htm Don't forget the RRA Match Trigger. It'll bump the price, but well worth it. ![]()

I bought an LE 15 (M4 carbine style) for $695.00 from Classic Arms. It was made by a small company named Rocky Point Guns. Surprisingly, it appears to be very well made and has all the bells and whistles. Time will tell, but so far I'm very pleased with it.

The Stag Arms AR 15, Model 3 that I bought a while back was right @ $900.
And also got a few things tossed in on the deal, such as swaping for a new quad rail/guard and also got a Sig Sauer stoplight/ Tactical light with the ergonmic grip, both added with the buy...$900. With the right ammo, it'll hold sub-moa and then some.

Another vote for the S&W MP15 sport I don't think you can get much better for under $600

Thanks for the suggestion guys. I really appreciate the input. I am not really into building my own, so with that said, I need to check out a few of the other recommendations.

Just about any of these combinations will cost less than $800. |
