There are several hard to cycle semi-auto pistols that require the recoil of Mini-Mag.

The CCI loaded "Blazer" (clear plastic grate instead of 4 leg plastic stand in 50 pack; and small 2mm high letterpress lot code on the 500+ bulk packs) is basically Mini-Mag with an uplated, black bullet. The Federal loaded Blazer is not as hard recoiling, and does not cycle some hard to cycle pistols.
