If you want my $0.02, I think it's total BS that Zimmerman went back to jail because of all that bail stuff... And it's even more BS his wife is going to jail.

I guess if your neighborhood thug is a black guy, your jumping into a legal hurricane if you defend yourself... Just sad what has happened because of all this.

zimmerman is a idiot , they BS the bail process after raising a heap

i sent $20 .. didnt declare it , dumb and its backfired as his Mrs swore what he said was true , dumber ...

play it straight and he had a chance , they are going to hang him for anything they can get now , they have too

but if he played it straight , declared everything and let the law work it out , he'd be OK

but now ?

i think zimmerman should not go to gaol for shooting martin , stupidity will get him there though

They screwed up when they lied and huge deal on thier part.
But I think with all the publicity and the pressure from other "groups', it's gonna or "gotta" be/get played out.
They shold have been straight from the get-go.

I guess I missed where they were convicted of lying and perjury.

Lying is just going to weaken their credibility being that their's is the only story being told. The media has already convicted him, the trial will only be a rubber stamp.

It sounds more and more like the "political" prosecuter is trying to racket up the pressure on Zimmerman to get him to cop a plea because the prosecuter knows she can't win in court with the evidence in Zimmerman's favor. Unfortunately this type of situation isn't that unusual.

It would be a real shame if an innocent man has to cop a plea because of pressure...better to have 10 guilty go free than imprison an innocent man...
However if Zimmerman has lied about the confrontations details, and he was the first aggressor, then he deserves time...

He most definately screwed up when he didnt truthfully disclose everything. if all accounts are true he is clear on murder charges

They are going to go at both he and his wife any way that they can to try to force him to take a plea. They know that the witnesses and the evidence are enough to get him off of the charge of murder 2 and they are running scared. I've seen this under handed illegal crap go on more times then I can even count. Its one of the reasons I left law enforcement. The reason they say "Justice is blind" is because it is... it is blind to innocence or guilt.. all it cares about is which side of the scale has the most money in it. That is why the statue has on a blind fold and one scale is lower then the other.

Its not just about throwing people in jail.. it's about generating revenue as well. Take a plea, pay a fine plus court costs and go on your merry probation way. Problem is that a lot of people have to take a plea only because they can't afford to pay for an attorney. So your option is to take a plea bargain of any kind instead of getting the heavier charge thrown on you and going to jail. You could go with a court appointed defense attorney, and all they will do is to convince you to take a plea to get rid of your case and collect their fee from the court.

None of us know what really occured that night except GZ. If he really acted in self defense then he should go free BUT his stupidity is going to really hurt him. If people believe he lies then they probably will not believe him when he tells what happened. He is a jerk who is going to hang himself.
