My post gone - The Firearms Forum

Hello guys, hate to be such a dummy, so maybe you can help me out.

this morning I started a new thread in the large &small bore rifle & pistol
forum giving a link to the winchester ballistic site asking what anyone's opinion of the web site was. I then checked to make sure that it was posted.

Went back to see what, if any answers I got, and the post was gone, I checked other forums, and it was not on any of them.

Don't want to mess up, so what have I done wrong.

Thanks for any advice.

if u click on the search button and put the name of your thread u can get it back up

No, Beth, it's gone. I know 'cause I posted on it, and just did a search on my posts and it ain't there.

But the place he linked to required me to download some type of program before I could look at the site.

Someone in the "we can delete threads" group might have considered that to be some type of spam.

Thanks for the replies. It wasn't that important, I thought it was an impressive website,
and wanted to share & get any input.

I didn't have to download any kind of program to use it, have it in my favorites.

Mainly wanted to make sure that I didn't make a boo boo in the forum.
