Not much point in that.
Why not just buy more ammo?
Or save your pennies and buy something really good. It's not like gasoline, where you have to buy some every week, so it makes sense to find the cheapest fillin' station. If you get a good gun, your grandchildren will get some use out of it someday, and it will provide you enormous satisfaction while you're alive to have it. Kahr K9 or Sig 229, for example. Not really that much more expensive.
I agree, save a few hundred more and buy a Sig. I disagree on the model, I suggest a 226. I guarantee you'll love it a little more every time you pull it out.

Well, I am thinking I'll have to do some wheeling and dealing in order to get a Ruger 1911 for around $600... which shouldn't be too hard.

Ruger SR1911 Semi-Auto Pistol 6700, 45 Automatic Colt Pistol (ACP), 5 in, Wood Grip, Stainless Finish, 8 Rd

After looking at all the guns and videos webpages and such, that seems to be the cheapest pistol that I am sure I'll be satisfied with.

There is probably a 6 month backlog. :/

9mm

Glock 17 Standard Pistol PI1750203, 9mm, 4.49 in, Polymer Grip, Black Finish, Fixed Sights, 17 Rd
I have shot a few Glocks and they seemed to work well, but I'd rather have a single and double action auto.

Ruger KP95PR15 Pistol 13014, 9mm, 3.9 in, Black Synthetic Grip, Stainless Finish, 15 Rd, Pic Rail
It seems that my price range doesn't lend to longer barrels. I like the rail for an accessory.

Taurus PT-92 Large Frame Pistol 1920159M17, 9mm, 5", Checkered Rubber Grip, Stainless Finish, 17 Rd, Fixed Sights
I love the looks, (looks like a Beretta,) and barrel length, and price. I like this one the most.

Beretta Px4 Storm Double/Single Action Pistol JXF9F21, 9mm, 4", Polymer Grip, Black Matte Finish, 17 Rd
My brother had a Beretta, (looked like the Taurus above,) and it was the smoothest 9mm I've ever worked, maybe this one is as smooth?

Sig 2022 Pistol Pistol E20229B, 9mm, 3.9 in, Black Synthetic Grip, Black Finish, Contrast Sights, 15 Rd
I hear great things about these weapons.

45 Auto

American Tactical 1911 FX Series Pistol ATIGFX45MIL, 45 ACP, 5 in, Mahagony Grip, Blue Finish, 8 Rd
This is the only 1911 pistol I can afford.

380

Bersa Thunder 380 Pistol THUN380BLDLX, 380 ACP, 3-1/2", Polymer Grip, Blue Finish, 9 Rd
I like the price and it looks cool... I wonder how finicky 380 is to reload? I got a 25 auto to shoot pretty darn good.

32 Auto

Bersa Thunder 32 T32N, 32 ACP, 3.5", Checkered Black Polymer Grip, Nickel Finish, 10 Rd
I like the price of these guns.

Do you have any suggestions other than these?
*looks some more*

You left the CZ-75 and SIG 226 off your list.

My list has changed a lot since my initial post...

This is the CZ I am interested in.
CZ 75B Semi-Auto Pistol 01104, 9mm, 4.7", Black Plastic Grip, Duo-Tone Finish, 16 Rd

I'd rather have stainless but that costs $150 more; $100 more than my new and improved limit.

Thats a very good choice Ron. I have a CZ 75 Cold War Commemorative #411 of 999 made. It is a nail driver. And feels oh so good in the hand..

I agree with Jackson - get yourself an RIA in 9mm!! As a second choice I would agree with CC - Sig 226 is a fantastic weapon as well. Nothing wrong with the CZ, Ive just never owned one and only shot one once - good weapon tho.

If you're still looking at the CZs, the best prices I've found online are right here: http://czcustom.com/CZ-UB-USA-Factory-Pistols.aspx

First criteria.......getting rid of the 659......
buy and trade[for] guns to accumulate more,
not to ever get rid of any.
From your list, I would have to go with the Sig2022
because of price/versatility [although I had the 1st
issue with one of MamaOzo's Sig's stove-piping and
feed issue recently, really surprised me]
I, oZo, say.......fill the void with ANOTHER revolver.......
Or get a Bersa .22, a Ruger Mark........less $$$$ and get
another centerfire revolver.

I wouldn't over look the Kimber Solo. Great CCW gun and got a very good writeup in the recent Gun Digest. I like mine but the downside is that it only holds 6 rounds.

A CZ75B can be Bought on-line for around 450,00 that leaves you with enough left over to buy 3-4 boxes of Ammo
