I have the SIG 1911-22 (same as the GSG), I can honestly say it is the most fun and dependable gun I've ever fired. Being a full size 45 auto, it has the same feel and handling of the 1911 Gov't model with the economical benefits of rimfire ammo. Over 2000 rounds so far and only one misfire (ammo issue, not the gun). It pretty much feeds and fires everything you put through it. Accuracy is excellent to say the least. Breakdown and cleaning is a breeze.:thumbsup

SIG was on sale at Cabela's for $400, regular price is $420, comes with two extra front sights (high & low), tool kit, case, and lubricant. mine is black, but I've seen them in OD Green, also they all have Rosewood grips..nice.
This auto also is about 80% compatable with most 1911 parts. |

I also have the Sig 1911-22 and like it very much. The only thing I didn't like was the grip saftey but i got that taken care of. It is not a gun to throw around, it will scratch but it is a dpendable pistol and is a good trainer. I think I paid $300 for mine at Sports Academy. I am very pleased with it, it does what I bought it for.

The only thing I don't like about it is the 'funky'
takedown method....gotta have an allen wrench. All my Sig's and other 1911's are primarily simple. As far as the gun shooting and the feel.....with a weighted magazine in the .22........and the balance....I like it very much. I have Hogue front-wrap grips....excellent. Although recommended you use CCI rounds, I don't see her finicky about any brand I use.....Fed Lightning,Win Xpert,Fed Target, Win Super X, or even Rem Gold Bulk.
