I was resently given an Eric Johnson .22cal Target Rifle. It is in OK condision, and needs to be cleaned up. I am having problems getting the barrel out of the stock (can't get the wide trigger off), and I can not figure out how to get the Bolt out.....HELP
Anyone have any suggestions???? ![]()

Eric Johnson was very well known in the , I believe the 1940's/1950's for building target rifles. Very accurate Target rifles. If I'm wrong on the dates someone please correct me.

After reading gvw3's posting and pulling up the old site { research which I should have done
} let me rephrase my post Eric Johnson was a barrel maker who made very, very accurate barrels![]()

Yes, The barrel is date stamped 12/23/52....the thing is now I am trying to come up with some kind of rail system for a scope...the original scope mounts are 23" apart...
