Default What is this round?

I recently bought a pk7 and there were 3 of these rounds in the magazine. Cant find them anywhere on the net. The tip is plastic. Any clues? The casing is marked "r-p 9mm luger".

Its a safety slug. Popular HD/SD ammo as they do not penetrate much. Most common safety slugs are the glasers.

And the R-P is the manufacturer of the Brass case. As in Remington Peters. Its remington nickel plated brass.

It could be a handload but I doubt it. The Galser safety slugs do come loaded in Nickel Brass.
