Default Copper BB's in reloading!?

Well i was reading the manual of a lee load-all shotshell press and it said that you can use BB's but you have to give it a tap to drop them down. Which is amazing if i can use BB's being that i have a insane amount of them.

I have used them as well. Just make sure your shotgun/choke is rated for steel shot.

You sure you have copper BBs? Most likely copper plated steel. IF they're copper, sell them to the scrap yard and buy twice as many copper plated steel BBs.

Haha probably a good idea. I guess i can assume they're steel plated copper and would they work with 12 gauge shells or no?

a skeet shooting buddy gave me about 3lbs of BB lead shot last week, just loaded them up into the 12 gauge, some 1 1/4oz loads. Not really sure why but had never loaded BB size before so I made a box; going to test them tomorrow and see how they pattern. seems like a good kitty cannon shell or similar sized pests.

Kept about a pound of them, will have to try them in the .410!

I think BB is 50 pellets per oz so 24 would make sense for the 1/2 oz load data in the diagram of the .410, thanks for that picture
