I can see that you have an undying hatred for the United States. While I don't support Obama any more than the next conservative, this is still my country and I really don't appreciate you talking it down. Most of what you're ranting about took place years ago, long before Obama came in yet I don't see you getting your panties in a twist over Bush or Clinton. As it is, I've had enough of your racist attitude and your posting misleading quotes and articles from websites that make the National Enquirer look like the New York Times. If the admins of this site tolerate such attitudes in moderators then I can tell this this is a site that I want no more to do with, you can wallow in your little pool of hatred all you want, I'll waste no more time with the likes of you.

No, as a matter of fact, jack, I've just added Australia to the list of countries that I won't ship to. Right there with all the other Muslim states.

I've had my buddies killed too, so don't throw that at me, been mustered out because artillery took 85% of my hearing to have the veteran administration say it's not service related so no pension for you at all since you didn't make your 20 years thank you very much. If you don't like someone pointing out that your facts aren't correct then maybe you need a thicker skin or check things out more before you go on about them. And maybe you don't like the Muslin statement, but you're the one always in here going on about them in your country, if it aint so then don't lay it out like that. I didn't say a thing that you hadn't already posted in other threads, you had to go low blow on my tools just to jab a sharp stick in my eye, didn't have a damned thing to do with the thread but you went there. I don't need you to sell my tools down there, I was just giving you a chance to make some money distributing them to dealers down there, but that chance is obviously a bust now, I can handle it fine on my own.

Seriously, It seems to me that Israel's defense spending could be cut significantly if the U.S. would stop selling weapons to the muslims. That however, isn't going to happen.
If it hasn't been realized by anyone here yet, we are in self destruct mode. We screw our friends and suck up to our enemies. We don't protect our sovereignty or our borders. We've allowed muslims and mexican illegals to take over whole cities while denying visas to worthy europeons. In fact we put an illegal alien in the white house. At a time of high unemployment we continue to buy up all the crap China can send us. We've borrowed money like there's no tomorrow, and there probably isn't. At times I don't know whether to laugh or cry. America isn't what it used to be, but then it's doubtful we ever were what we used to be. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

mogunner, Jack is more pro-American than most of our own government - please put that one to rest.
There IS a discrepency here, though, which probably traces to information sources. The M1A1 tank was last produced (NEW) from 1985 through 1993. I have enough faith in the Aussie armed forces to believe that they knew this when they ordered 59 of them in March of 2004. That contract was signed in November of 2005. The first 18 tanks were delivered to the School of Armour in Victoria in September 2006. The remaining 41 were delivered in March 2007. That information is available in several sources, such as: The Armor Site I have dug and dug, and I cannot find where any additional orders for these were placed by Australia - The use of "new" in the press release was unfortunate - But we all do that. Many of us move to a new apartment, and RARELY is it new; only new to us. This is undoubtedly what they were saying in this press release, where the "new" was only used to distinguish them from those presently in use.

I am giving you a week suspension to think about it, and at the end of that time you may return with a reformed attitude towards our moderating staff - who by the way do a GREAT job - or you can make your absence permanent.

Breaking news: President Obama has just ordered nuclear missiles retargeted to strike Australia, claiming that someone with the code name of Jack 404 has declared war on the U.S.
He has thanked our friends and allies in Pakistan and Iran for their support. Jim ![]() |

Extra -
WWII style internment camps have been opened in 45 locations around the country. Each has the capacity for 1000 prisoners. Those being sought for internment are members of a secret radical group using the acronym "TFF", and are known to be sympathizers with personage declaring war on the US.

Thanks, Terry, the discussion was getting a little intense; the humor is a good relief.
![]() ...although I've glanced at snippets about the internment camps. They need to put the right people in the camps though... The Communists had ways of "re-educating" people in special camps in their heyday. |

It looks to me that Obama has a future in used cars sales. I have heard he may be looking for work soon.

Ever since reading and participating in this thread, something has been bothering me that I wanted to get off my chest. There are really two issues I'd like to address. The first being the U.S. government's irrational policies with regard to arms sales to other countries. The second is mutual respect among some of the best militaries in the world.
For the life of me I can't find a single good reason to be selling arms to any of the muslim nations surrounding Israel. They want these weapons for one reason, and that is to destroy Israel. Aside from the single exception of the Iran/Iraq war, how often do muslim nations fight each other? How many middleeastern nations are chomping at the bit to get at each others throats? They aren't. They are all thick as thieves (which is what they are). Of course now there are internal conflicts and rebellions as the muslim brotherhood rises to power; all the more reason that these nations shouldn't possess the advantages of our technology. On the other hand we have our allies who are being denied the weapons they need for their defense. In my opinion, we should be sharing every bit of our technological advances with those that have borne the battle with us throughout the last century, up until the present time. Specifically, I'm speaking of Austrailia, Canada, New Zealand, and the UK. We share not only a common language, but a common history. We are all descendants of freedom loving people. The magna carta is our inheritance. Add to that list the nation of Israel, that shares with us all a different heritage. To my thinking all of these nations should be armed to the teeth, and I mean armed with the capability of annihilating any threat. If Austrilia needs missile defense systems, screw what Indonesia thinks. All our governments and our people had better realize that we are in an unending war with a force that grows stronger every day, Islam. Now I'd like to address the subject of respect. In the heat of debate on this thread, disparaging remarks have been exchanged, which are not worthy of TFF. As a U.S. veteran myself, I took offense to the accusation that someone else had to "cover our butts" while we ran. I have to call bs on that. The old complaints I've heard so many times, from several of our allies, that the U.S. pulls them into messes they really didn't want, gets very old. Dammit if you don't want to come along then stay home. I'd rather you were there, but without the criticism of our motives and our conduct. But there is a deeper sense of respect to think about. And that is respect and honor among war fighters. The abilities and fighting spirit of every one of our allies previously mentioned is top notch and I'd be proud to join them, fighting shoulder to shoulder on the battlefield. I would hope that these allies would feel the same way about American troops. This idea that we have not been up to the task or have needed someone else to cover us while we ran is truly bothersome. Maybe my interpretation of comments made is totally wrong, but I think that's what incensed a member to the point where it was necessary to bench him awhile to cool off. Within the service members of various branches often exchange quips and insults, usually in fun. Sometimes it gets heated, even physical. But deep down inside most know that they are all fighting for the same thing, which is ultimately, each other. My experience has been that true professionals avoid these insults among themselves. They respect what the other guy brings to the table, what his capabilities are, and his dedication to the service. I think perhaps a few lost sight of that in this discussion. I may be all wet, but that's how I see it. This is not to be taken as a personal attack on any member. Those involved I consider my friends, for whom I have the deepest respect.
